To coincide with Greenpeace's 50th anniversary, Dezeen has teamed up with Michael Green Architecture and Greenpeace to host a live talk to discuss the role of designers in environmental activism.
The conversation explores where designers fit into the wider conversation of environmental justice and whether enough is being done to address pressing environmental concerns such as climate change, social inequity and threatened democracy.
Dezeen's founder and editor-in-chief Marcus Fairs moderates the talk, which features perspectives from Canadian architect and principal Michael Green of Michael Green Architecture, writer, ecologist and Greenpeace co-founder Rex Weyler, and professor and graduate director of Urban & Regional Planning at Ryerson University Nina-Marie Lister.
Design, Activism and Impact takes place online at dezeen.com/talks from 4pm GMT on 26 November 2021.
