Jerusalem Design Week is Israel's leading public design event and features a number of exhibitions and installations from Israeli and international designers.
The event attracts over 40,000 design enthusiasts and professionals and has contributions from 200 Israeli and international designers across over 40 events, exhibitions and installations.
The events focus on this year's theme called For Now, which focuses on the design of ephemerality and ephemerality of design.
A highlight of the event is a project by Italian artist Aldo Giannotti, which questions repetition and time. Giannotti's work will be showcased outside Hansen House alongside a musical and dance performance.
Also included is an exhibition called Clean motion, which focuses on the tools used in Japanese cleaning rituals and the Matchmaker project, which is intended to connect local Jerusalem-based artisans and designers of all age groups.
