The annual Serpentine Pavilion returns on 10 June with Black Chapel, a wooden pavilion designed by American artist Theaster Gates, located in Kensington Gardens, London.

With architectural support from Adjaye Associates, Gates designed the pavilion in reference to chapels and Stoke-on-Trent's bottle kilns.

The pavilion acts as a platform for a host of live performances and public events that take place during the Serpentine's summer programme.

Serpentine Pavilion 2022: Black Chapel by Theaster Gates takes place from 10 June to 16 October 2022 within the Serpentine's grounds in Kensington Gardens, London.
