Tallinn Architecture Biennale is the biggest architectural festival in the Baltics and this year is centered around a theme named Edible, or The Architecture of Metabolism.
It includes a large exhibition that explores the logic of the circular economy and the ways it interacts with design fields, as well as an outdoor installation in the heart of Tallinn, which is the result of an architecture competition.
The biennale aims to encourage synergy between Estonian and foreign architects and also between architects and the public through meeting and exchanging ideas.
The Tallinn Architecture Biennale is curated by Lydia Kallipoliti and Areti Markopoulou in collaboration with co-curator Ivan Sergejev. It aims to empower designers, architectures, planners and practitioners to take a stance on circular operations within architecture.
