The Museum of Architecture hosts its exhibition The Gingerbread City for the sixth year.
The exhibition showcases model cities made from gingerbread, and the museum has briefed architects to create them within five climate zones: polar, continental, temperate, dry and tropical.
The brief intends to address how architectural design changes around the world due to local resources and building methods.
The exhibition also addresses architecture in a post-Covid world, looking at convenient, green, sustainable and affordable design.
More than 100 architects, designers and engineers are taking part in the exhibition.
The Gingerbread City 2022 takes place from 3 December 2022 to 2 January 2023 at the Museum of Architecture, 6-7 Motcomb Street, London SW1X 8JU, UK.
