Design platform Deem and the Museum of Contemporary Art Chicago host Designing for Dignity: A Convening of Possibilities, a symposium examining how design can establish inclusive communities.
The symposium features a series of keynotes, panel discussions and presentations exploring the themes: Dignity, Pedagogy, Equity and Place.
Speakers include architects Amanda Williams and Germane Barnes; designers Ramon Tejada, Annika Hansteen-Izora and Maya Bird-Murphy; graphic designer Otez Gary; artist Tonika Lewis Johnson; founder of Borderless Studio, Paola D. Aguirre; and professor of Urban Planning at the Harvard Graduate School of Design, Toni L. Griffin.
