The Guggenheim in New York City presents almost 200 works from German-Venezuelan artist and architect Gego, including sculptures, photographs, textiles, sketches and letters.

The chronological exhibition showcases Gego's two and three-dimensional work spanning the 1950s to the 1990s, expressing organic forms and linear structures.

Gego's work explores the relationship between lines, space and volume, informed by fragility, tensions, transparency and illusions.
