Design studios Crafting Plastics and DumoLab Research are presenting the Sensbiom II installation at design show Alcova, exploring interactive biomaterials.

Sensbiom II is made up of biopolymer lattices that signal changes in solar radiation in real-time, designed to make visitors aware of the "invisible threat".

According to the studios, the interactive installation aims to connect people with the planet and is made from materials derived from renewable resources.

Sensbiom II takes place from 17 to 23 April 2023 at Alcova, Via Molise 62, 20137 Milan, Italy.
