V&A Dundee hosts Tartan, an exhibition exploring the Scottish textile and showcasing more than 300 objects.

The material is symbolic of rebellion and tradition, and the exhibition explores how it has brought together and divided communities.

The exhibition presents work by fashion designers Vivienne Westwood, Alexander McQueen, Chanel and Dior, as well as historic objects.

Tartan takes place from 1 April 2023 to 14 January 2024 at V&A Dundee, 1 Riverside Esplanade, Dundee DD1 4EZ, UK.
