Boston-based designers Tiange Wang and I-Yang Huang discuss the future of data in an online discussion during NYCxDesign 2023.

The discussion focuses on the designers' collaborative project titled DataWagashi, which explores data and Japanese confectionery.

DataWagashi analyses how the colour, taste, smell and texture of food can relate to data, reimagining data visualisation as data physicalisation.

During the talk and workshop, the designers assess data around climate, geography and wellness.
