The Design Museum hosts The Offbeat Sari, an exhibition exploring the reinvention of the sari and Indian and South Asian fashion.

The exhibition features around 60 saris made within the last 10 years, showcasing different textures, materials, weaves, colours and drapes, many of which have not been seen in the UK before.

The Offbeat Sari also examines the role of the garment in representing identity, social class and style.

The Offbeat Sari takes place from 19 May to 17 September 2023 at the Design Museum, 224-238 Kensington High Street, London W8 6AG, UK.
