Asia Pacific Architecture Festival 2023 returns from 9 to 23 June 2023 with a programme that explores why design matters to sustainability, culture and the economy.

The festival includes exhibitions, symposiums and a school show by masters students from the University of Queensland's School of Architecture.

Highlights of this year's festival include The Architecture Symposium, where speakers from Australia and abroad will discuss ideas related to architecture's role in the economy and culture of the Asia Pacific region, and the Divine Brisbane exhibition that presents Brisbane's architectural past.

Other highlights include a free virtual event called Ask an Architect, which give attendees the opportunity to meet a Queensland architect and discuss projects from the comfort of their own home.
