From the Thames to Eternity is an installation designed by Matthew Barnett Howland, Oliver Wilton and CSK Architects, relocating 58 granite blocks from Victoria Embankment to different areas of London.
By repurposing the one-tonne stones – arranged to serve as seating – the installation aims to encourage conversations about a circular economy.
From the Thames to Eternity is separated into seven locations across the city: St Peter's Hill, Carter Lane Gardens, St Paul's Cathedral, Christchurch Greyfriars Church Garden, King Edward St, Little Britain and Smithfield Rotunda.
From the Thames to Eternity takes place from 16 to 24 September 2023 at various locations across London, UK.
