NYCxDESIGN presents the 2023 edition of its annual Design Pavilion, comprising two built installations and a projection of digital art.
The three works will be available to view during New York's month-long design festival Archtober, and are brought to visitors by creatives from multiple disciplines aiming to prompt discussions surrounding topics including materiality, sustainability and social justice.
The two built installations – titled Bamboo Cloud and Public Display – intend to provide oases within the city, located at Gansevoort Plaza.
The third exhibition, I Was Here, is a digital projection that encourages viewers to reflect on the history of slavery will be projected onto the World Trade Center Podium.
NYCxDesign's Design Pavilion takes place from 12 to 18 October at various locations across New York City, USA.
