The 14th edition of the International Conference on The Constructed Environment takes place in Vienna, Austria, hosting a series of talks across two days.
The event follows four themes: The Design of Space and Place, Constructing the Environment, Environmental Impacts and Social Impacts.
This edition also addresses the specific topic of Asocial Forms: Reconfiguring Possibilities of Urban Space, assessing how communal urban spaces create connections between people.
The 2024 plenary speakers include designer Milena Ivkovic; professor at the University of Applied Sciences Northwestern Switzerland, Matthias Drilling; and director of Eutropian, Bahanur Nasya.
Previous editions of the travelling conference have taken place in Honolulu, Hawaii; Monterrey, Mexico; Calgary, Canada; and Berkeley, USA.
