London-based industrial design studio Blond hosts an exhibition inviting seven global designers to respond to its Blond artefacts initiative, which focuses on creation informed by objects no longer in production.
Designers and studios include Sony's Hirotaka Tako, John Tree, Pentagram's Jon Marshall, Form Us With Love, Julie Richoz, Maddalena Casadei and Blond's James Melia.
Blond claims to have selected the collaborators based on a mutual interest in industrial design – each of whom has selected a second-hand item to respond to.
Alongside the final prototypes and initial artefacts, Blond Laboratory also outlines the designers' creative processes.
The exhibition marks the studio's second exhibition in the Brera Design District during Milan design week.
Blond Laboratory takes place from 15 to 21 April 2024 at Via Palermo 11, 20121 Milano, Italy.
