Furniture manufacturer Provasi returns to Milan design week with its The Time exhibition, presenting a showroom of designs for kitchens and living rooms, along with site-specific installations by artists Fabrizio Plessi and Beatrice Spadea.

The products on display are available in a variety of finishes, including marble, gold, eucalyptus, durmast oak and silk.

Alongside the exhibition, Plessi presents a video installation titled Contemporary Classic, which features a series of black screens showcasing the melting process of gilded columns, which is, as the artist said, "the tangible yet ever-changing sign of an endlessly flowing golden and quiet river".

Outside the venue is the work of Spadea, The Portal of Timeless Dreams, composed of ten thousand pieces of shiny and opaque biodegradable golden paper.

The Time by Provasi takes place from 15 to 21 April 2024 at Provasi, Via Borgonuovo 1, 20121 Milan, Italy.
