Dezeen is partnering with V–A–C to produce content about Non-Extractive Architecture, an initiative advocating for a new type of architecture that does not exploit the planet.
Non-Extractive Architecture: On Designing Without Depletion takes the form of a written manifesto by Space Caviar as well as an exhibition at V–A–C’s Venetian headquarters.
Dezeen will track the progress of Non-Extractive Architecture for the duration of the exhibition, which will act as a live research platform that runs alongside the Venice Architecture Biennale.
The partnership launches with a live talk with Space Caviar’s Joseph Grima, who will introduce the project and discuss the research that has taken place since the exhibition opened in March.
