Richard Hutten
Richard Hutten is a Dutch designer and innovator known for his playful and conceptual work across furniture, product and interior design.
A leading figure in his field, he pushes the boundaries of design and champions sustainability as an expert in circular economy.
He is one of the world’s most collected living designers, with his work in permanent collections in over 50 museums including the MoMA, the V&A, Centraal Museum Utrecht, Vitra Museum, San Francisco Museum of Modern Art, Design Museum London, Design Museum Gent, Chicago Art Institute and the Stedelijk Museum Amsterdam.
In recent years he has become the art director of Gispen and CS rugs, and he is the recipient of many international awards such as Red Dot Award, LAI interior award, The great Indoors award and the German Design Award.
