Competition: Dezeen has teamed up with publishers No Starch to offer readers the chance to win one of five copies of a book that explores architectural styles and iconic buildings with Lego.
Congratulations to the winners! Maryline Rodrigues from France, Jasmine Ratcliffe from the UK, Rhys Vincent from Ireland, Ashley Dasent from Canada and Neil Hockley from Switzerland.
The book presents the history of seven architectural styles including Art Deco, Neoclassical and Postmodern, through buildings that have been recreated using the interlocking plastic blocks.
Step-by-step instructions help readers to build twelve Lego models including Thomas Jefferson's Monticello, Modernist skyscrapers, Frank Lloyd Wright's Willits House, a Brutalist library and a High-Tech train station.
"The official Lego Architecture sets are bestsellers because they allow people to experience architecture hands-on by recreating famous buildings," said Tom Alphin, author of The Lego Architect. "My book runs with this idea, but with the broader goal of exploring many influential architectural styles."
A model of Le Corbusier's Unité d'Habitation in Marseille – the Brutalist development that redefined high-density housing in the 1950s – is featured as the cover image.
Last year, Lego launched a set of monochrome building blocks aimed at the architecture and design community.
Using these blocks, architects including Steven Holl and Bjarke Ingels created Lego buildings for an installation by artist Olafur Eliasson on the High Line in Manhattan.
The Lego Architect will be available to purchase from No Starch's website from September 2015 for $24.95 (£16).
This competition has now closed. Five winners will be selected at random and notified by email. Winners' names will be published in a future edition of our Dezeen Mail newsletter and at the top of this page. Dezeen competitions are international and entries are accepted from readers in any country.
