In our latest competition, we're offering one reader and five friends a three-night stay in the Boat House cabin at Cabü by the Sea in Kent.
This competition has now closed.
Located in St Mary's Bay, near Romney Marsh wetlands on the Kent coastline, the timber-frame cabins offer a chance to relax outdoors by the English coast.
The winner and their group of friends are invited to stay in the Boat House cabin for three nights, including access to outdoor barbecue grills, spa facilities, free bike hire and complimentary champagne on arrival.
All the cabins are arranged around a central hub called the Cabü House. Here, guests are able to buy groceries for their stay, organise trips or rent a bike to tour the surroundings, and can seek advice from Cabü staff on local attractions.
Guesthouses feature furniture designed by Loaf, wood burners, televisions, WiFi and a wide, outdoor seating-area.
Some cabins – including the Boat House where the winner will stay – house private alfresco dining spaces.
In communal areas between the cabins, groups can relax outdoors in the hot-tub, heated pool or brave the cold sea, and finish their day by cooking dinner at the barbecue station.
Guests can venture out of the resort along mapped-out routes either by foot or car, to visit sights including the rolling white-sand dunes of Camber Sands beach.
Port Lympne Reserve, home to over 760 animals in 600 acres, can be found 15 minutes drive from Cabü by the Sea. It offers a safari for visitors to experience the "Kentish Savannah".
Out on the water, more adventurous activities include water skiing, wake-boarding and jet skiing to get the most out of the coastline views.
Designed by Cabü, the cabins are designed as a modern take on a barn dwelling. Their timber-frame construction highlights the simple structure of the two-storey holiday homes, with an emphasis on natural materials.
"The exposed timber gives a natural feel to the space with raw materials on display echoing something between a cabin by the lake and an urban loft," said Cabü.
They are constructed using the same modular building structure seen in the brand's other projects.
Cabü advocates low-impact building that fits into its surroundings, using sustainably sourced timber and efficient insulation to lower heating costs.
The resort hopes to promote an alternative, environmentally conscious, design-led holiday option on the Kent coast.
Cabü by the Sea is the latest project from Cabü, which designs and sells modular buildings that can be used as homes or offices. The brand can personalise layouts and finishes in these structures to fit the user's needs.
Stays at Boat House or any of the cabins are available to book online.
The winner and up to five friends will receive a three-nights stay at the Boat House cabin.
Competition closes 26 December 2019. One winner will be selected at random and notified by email, and his or her name will be published at the top of this page. Terms and conditions apply. Travel not included. Prize must be redeemed within three months of the winner's announcement.
