There is just one week left to save 20 per cent on entry fees for Dezeen Awards China 2024 in partnership with Bentley!

Early entries close 16 July at 23:59 Beijing time. The entry period runs until 23 August with late entry accepted until 30 August, both at higher fees. Why not start your entry today and take advantage of early entry prices!

We've put together a list of the most frequently asked questions over the last few weeks to help you get started.

What are the entry fees and deadlines for Dezeen Awards China 2024?

Early entries close at 23:59 Beijing time on 16 July.

Entry fees have been set as low as possible to encourage entries from every type of studio.

For individuals and companies with 10 employees or fewer: 800 RMB per category entry.

For companies with more than 10 employees: 1,600 RMB per category entry.

How can I pay for my entry?

Once you have registered your details on our website, you will receive an email including payment details and your entry form links. This year, we are only accepting bank transfers.

The bank account in the email only accepts transfers in RMB. For companies located in Hong Kong, Macau and Taiwan that require direct overseas remittance, please send an email to [email protected]. We will provide you with an alternative payment method.

Why enter Dezeen Awards China?

We provide a platform for both emerging Chinese talent and established names to gain international recognition for their work.

Shortlisted and winning entries will be published on Dezeen's WeChat account as well as Dezeen's main website to our three million users and over seven million social media followers. They will also be included in Dezeen's newsletters sent to over half a million subscribers.

Shortlisted and winning studios are able to attend an exclusive event with renowned industry professionals in December in Shanghai. All winners will also receive a trophy and a certificate!

Who can enter Dezeen Awards China?

Your company must be based in China, including the special administrative regions of Hong Kong, Macau and Taiwan.

Multinational firms that have a registered office in China can enter, as long as the majority of the work on the project was completed by the Chinese office.

It is fine for Chinese companies to submit projects that have been built outside of China. However, companies that are based outside of China cannot enter, even if their projects are built in China.

I've already entered the international edition of Dezeen Awards, can I also enter Dezeen Awards China?

Yes, you can enter projects into both editions of Dezeen Awards. You will, however, need to make a new entry.

Can I enter my studio?

No, the Designers of the Year categories are nomination-only and names will be shortlisted by our panel of industry-leading judges.

We have 19 categories for you to enter, having added three new categories this year:

  • Landscape and urban design
  • Craft and collectible design
  • Exhibition design (interior)

Can I enter more than one project in the same category?

Yes, there is no limit to how many projects you can enter in the same category. You will need to fill out a separate entry form for each project submission.
