Titan
LightSpace has designed Titan, a sci-fi-inspired desk.
"The design of the Titan desk is inspired by the elements of the high-altitude tower in the science fiction movie, Oliver," told LightSpace.
The overall appearance is 73mm thick with strong lines and bevelled edges.
The metal beams are pre-embedded at the bottom of the table and the power cord of the desk is also stored under the table, making the design more concise; the table is equipped with convenient Eubiq power rails and corresponding socket modules that can easily solve office electricity problems.
The shape of the sub-cabinet is sunken, making it more convenient for storage – while the drawers are equipped with high-tech fingerprint locks that are both convenient to operate and strong.
"The overall stability and balance of the desk [and] the more powerful function is that the desk can intelligently control the overall lifting," added LightSpace. "We can switch between sitting and standing two different office postures at any time, which has better health promotion for the body and reflects [in] this product."
This project has been shortlisted in the workplace design category of Dezeen Awards China 2023.
