Lyrical Side-Table Collection
Neri&Hu has designed the Lyrical Side-Table Collection for Stellar Works, a collection of round wooden side tables.
The Lyrical Collection is an "homage to the artistry of woodcraft". At first glance, the round side tables are deceptively simple, with a solid wood top and a wooden structure to support it.
Details such as the subtle curvature of the edge profile, the foot that slightly elevates the frame, the asymmetrical offset of the secondary legs and the lip on the edge of the tabletop reveal a certain level of craftsmanship and sophistication.
"The minimal yet refined design makes the lyrical side table an everyday table for many settings," said Neri&Hu.
Adhering to the brand philosophy of Stellar Works, the Lyrical Collection incorporates the design ideas of culture fusion between East and West.
This project has been shortlisted in the furniture design category of Dezeen Awards China 2024.
