M.R. Studio has designed the interiors of Gym Town in Central, Hong Kong.
Dreaming of life on Mars, M.R Studio's founder Myron drew inspiration from the Red Planet and reimagined Mars-inspired elements through a sensual lens.
Recreating a futuristic landscape that both mesmerises and motivates, Gym Town entices its members to detach from their busy lives and focus on individual health goals.
Recently relocated into a prime address in Central, the interior of Gym Town was designed by Myron Kwan, founder and creative director of sought-after local design firm M.R. Studio.
Highly reputed for his innovative ideas and immersive narrative design work, Kwan manages to create an unconventional fitness space that transports its members from the bustling metropolitan city of Hong Kong into an otherworldly environment.
Occupying an entire floor within the On Hing Building, the 8,000-square-foot Gym Town features a celestial common area, sleek changing rooms with executive lockers, a fitness area for weight training, high-end cardio equipment and a professional combat and boxing zone.
This project has been shortlisted in the health and wellbeing interior category of Dezeen Awards China 2024.
