Shortlisted for Dezeen Awards China 2024 architect of the year, Guangzhou-based architecture studio O-office Architects.
O-office Architects was founded by Jianxiang He and Ying Jiang in 2007 in Guangzhou. They attempt to use architecture and spatial design as a platform to establish a set of spatial construction strategies across the fields of technology, art, video, media, etc., in the powerful context of “manufacturing” in contemporary China.
Recent projects include a sweeping, bright white chapel in Shanwei and a tea plantation near Guangzhou.
This studio has been shortlisted in the architect of the year category of Dezeen Awards China 2024.
