Say Architects
Shortlisted for Dezeen Awards China 2024 emerging interior designer of the year, Hangzhou-based interior design studio Say Architects.
Say Architects was founded by Yan Zhang and Jianan Shan in 2017 in Hangzhou. Say architects try to articulate design as a thought, a message or a story. It can be virtual or physical, momentary or permanent, flexible or immutable. The way they propose and express becomes as crucial as the end result of the design. Say tries to discover a unique and valuable character within each project.
Recent projects include a concept store for fashion brand Nice Rice in the seaside resort of Aranya and their own Community Office in Hangzhou.
This studio has been shortlisted in the emerging interior designer of the year category of Dezeen Awards China 2024.
